I have installed a Shower Filter because my skin and hair were being abused by the chemicals and harshness of the water being pumped into my home from the city.  Knowing that the city water is cleaned and decontaminated with various harsh chemicals, I looked into the benefits of a shower filter system.  I mean I really checked into them and did my research.  What I found is that these chemicals strip the natural moisture from our skin and hair.  I felt that this was an unfortunate result to me because I have to be clean and I prefer to shower.
